H2 1000 BP Upgraded Rear Stub Shaft Assembly
Complete rear stub/motor mount carrier assembly, ready to bolt in.
New modified motor mount/carrier bearing housing assembly allows us to use a much larger bearing.
We've overly engineered this stub with a 1.125" diameter piece of high-quality 4140 chromoly steel.
Compared to the skinny little 3/4" diameter OEM shaft, this thing will handle anything you can throw at it.
- We made the bearing area a press fit, unlike the stock slip fit. This helps prevent shaft damage from the bearing's inner race spinning on the shaft in the event of a bearing failure.
- Retainer clip included.
- More spline area on the front of the shaft. This helps the yokes last longer and prevents wobble.
- Full diameter all the way down the shaft. This eliminates any potential weak point that could cause it to break in the area of the oil pan.
- Retainer clip provided for the yoke stop. This allows the yoke to rest on a flat flange.
- Allows easy removal of the pinch bolt.
- Keeps the yoke from side loading and wobbling on the pinch bolt.
H2 1000 BP Upgraded Midship Shaft and Carrier Housing
- This carrier is located between the front seats under the console. Refer to the manual to remove the OEM carrier assembly.
- Upgraded Shaft Design prevents the little nub of the front shaft from breaking off. We removed the neck down and made it full spline, significantly increasing strength.
- Shaft is made from heat-treated 4130 chromoly.
- Upgraded Carrier Housing replaces the small OEM skateboard-style carrier bearing with this heavy-duty, double-sealed, and greased oversized unit for superior durability.
- Sealed bearing.
- SKF outer seals.
- Schaeffer's waterproof 219 grease packed in the void.
- Designed to keep out dirt and water.
