This listing is for Brute Performance to rebuild your steering rack and install our H2 Steering Rack Improvement Kit.
If you are unsure how to install the rack improvement kit yourself, or simply don't want to tackle the job, ship us your steering rack and we'll take care of it for you.
We will completely disassemble, clean, inspect, and rebuild your steering rack with our upgraded parts to bring it back to better-than-new standards.
Return shipping is included.
Why Upgrade the H2 Steering Rack?
Kawasaki uses a spring-loaded setup under the rack cap that is less than ideal. Under a hard load—hitting a stump, washout, or anything else unexpected—the rack shaft and pinion can separate and rotate, causing a hard-steer condition.
Our upgraded setup replaces and improves these components to make the assembly more rigid. This helps keep the internal rack and pinion gears properly engaged and prevents them from slipping apart or rotating under load.
The upgraded sealed and greased pinion bearing, along with a high-quality pinion seal, helps prevent water and mud intrusion around the pinion assembly.
The upgraded end bushings are wider and thicker than the factory bushings, helping prevent them from breaking or falling out.

We cannot repair chipped or damaged teeth on the pinion or rack shaft.

Tie rods are not required for the rebuild service.

Remove your tie rods before shipping the rack to us. This allows you to use a much smaller box and helps save on shipping costs.

This listing is for a rebuild service of your existing steering rack. You must ship your steering rack to Brute Performance.
Shipping:
Remove the tie rods and ship the steering rack only. Once received, we will disassemble, inspect, clean, upgrade, and rebuild the rack before shipping it back to you.

This has the shipping address, as well as a spot to include your contact and order information. We are not responsible for any lost shipments coming to us. We reccomend insuring the shipment.
