Product Overview

Brute Performance KRX 1000 Transmission Mounts

Fits:
KRX 1000 ALL YEARS

Replace the soft, weak factory rubber motor and transmission mounts with our heavy-duty polyurethane mounts.

Instead of covering up the problem with a heavy skid plate, our mounts address the root cause of the engine and transmission sagging in the chassis.

Benefits

  • Replaces the soft factory rubber mounts

  • Fixes the root cause of the engine/transmission sagging toward the lower frame

  • Helps prevent exhaust header cracking

  • Helps prevent muffler mount bending or separation

  • Corrects driveline misalignment

  • Helps eliminate vibration and stress on:

    • Rear stub shaft

    • Driveshaft

    • U-joints

Heavy-Duty Polyurethane Design

  • 60A hardness polyurethane

  • Will not sag like the factory rubber mounts

  • Soft enough to isolate harsh vibrations from the chassis

  • Anything harder begins to feel like a solid mount sitting in a vibrator chair

Transmission Mount Design

Our transmission mount is a one-piece design with an inner metal core bonded directly to the mount.

This provides:

  • 100% support on the top and bottom

  • No side-to-side movement

  • No up-and-down movement

  • Increased rigidity while still maintaining excellent vibration isolation

Installation Notes:

Driver Side Transmission Mount-

  • Easy to replace

  • A removable tab holds the mount in place

  • Remove the three bolts

  • Remove the tab

  • Replace the mount

  • Reinstall the tab

Approximately 30 minutes.

Passenger Side Transmission Mount-

The passenger side mount is more involved.

  • The retaining tab is part of the frame and is not removable

  • Raise the complete engine/transmission assembly high enough to remove and install the mount

  • Reassemble after installation

There are many different ways to remove and replace these mounts.

The method described above is simply how we do it.

Use the tools, jacks, and process that work best for your shop—there is no wrong way.
