SPEEDO DRD SPEEDOMETER CALIBRATOR

Corrects Speedometer Errors Caused By:

  • Portal or transmission reductions that cause the speedometer to read higher than actual speed and accumulate unnecessary mileage

  • Larger tires that cause the speedometer to read slower than actual speed

Installation:

  • Installation instructions are included.

  • Use the Speedo DRD setup calculator to determine the correct adjustment:

  • Version: 4.20M

  • Use a GPS speed reading for calibration.

  • Example:

    • Speedometer reads 65 MPH

    • Actual GPS speed is 60 MPH

    • Enter the values into the calculator and follow the generated programming instructions.

  • You can reprogram the unit as many times as needed to fine-tune the calibration.

  • Example: On our Ridge Crew Non-XR with 35" tires, the recommended correction was 34%, but final calibration was 26% reduction.

Example Programming (22.5% Correction):

  • Turn the ignition ON (engine not running).

  • Hold the button for 5 red blinks, then release (Percentage Adjustment Mode).

  • Hold the button until the LED turns green, then release (positive adjustment).

  • Hold for 2 green blinks, then release.

  • Hold for 2 green blinks, then release.

  • Hold for 5 green blinks, then release.

  • Programming is complete.
