KRX 1000 SHOCK TOWER BRACE
Bolt-on for 2020–2024 all models KRX 1000.
2025 machines require modification but will fit. See below.
Bolt on this brace that will actually help prevent the shock bolts from failing, not just look cool.
- Constructed from 3/16" (.187") thick steel.
- Utilizes the rectangular holes in the frame for a huge amount of support—not two little chintzy 6mm bolts.
- Our tabs rest inside the frame section for 2.5 inches of downward support.
- No new bolts required. OEM bolts are long enough and will be flush with the nut once tightened.
- No, we do not provide a plate that bolts to the back side of the shock tower. Freestanding plates not supported by anything do not provide any additional downward support.
- Most 2-seat and 4-seat machines have a weld bead in the middle of the shock tower that needs to be ground flush. We have seen two spot welds, along with one longer weld, in this area.
- This brace will not interfere with the OEM wiper.
2025 Machines
- Kawasaki moved the brake fluid bottle to the shock tower area.
- You will need to cut the bracket off to accommodate our plate.
- You will need to zip-tie the bottle to the radiator support bar
